We create loops in these cable ends by sliding the cable end
through a heavy security washer (on left).
The loop is typically formed around your furniture or a solid object.

Once you've secured the cable end,
you slide another smaller security washer onto the other cable end,
then lock that end to your equipment, or to our security plate.

With this cable, a padlock must be used for each item attached to the cable.
Even so, the Heavy Cable remains a very cost-effective approach to securing high-risk equipment.

It's also possible to secure the cable using a padlock, rather than the loop approach.
