The Cable Alarm to the left was developed to secure merchandise in entry lobbies of retail stores. These cable alarms use an alarm wire to connect the various items on display. If the wire is unplugged or cut, the alarm sounds for as long as 2 hours. It can also be used to secure computers or electronics. You'll also find our Security Mounts & Brackets that can be used to stabilize and secure equipment in earthquake zones or to prevent monitors from toppling off of mobile carts. These mounts & brackets adhere to the side of your equipment and are bolted to the furniture or cart using our Tufnut Security Nuts to create a solid security system mount. Finally, Retail Loss Prevention is a major application for our retractable, coiled, and straight security cables. We've recently developed coiled cables with an adjustable clamping feature that lets you attach different shaped items to the cable end. These cables are removable and can be re-used. Cable Alarm Lock Security System
Our cable alarm security systems have evolved from a more costly high-tech wireless security system approach to a simpler, inexpensive security system that sounds a 120-decibel alarm if the cable is broken or unplugged. The alarm can use a steel cable that provides physical security, or can use an alarm wire when just an alarm function is needed.
These two security systems can both be modified by adding almost any length of cable so you can secure more stuff along the cable. The cable alarm is completed when it's cable is looped back to the alarm unit. The wire alarm lets you secure your property without forming a completed circular loop to do it.

Although you see coiled cables in the nearby photo, we offer security systems using straight cable of many strengths and lengths, and retractable cables with a variety of attachments. Our strength is in solving display problems to keep merchandise available to your customers while protecting it from theft.
Security Mounts & Brackets
These security systems were originally developed to secure computers and equipment directly to desks or tables. It turned out that they are well-suited to keep AV equipment on portable carts, protecting both the equipment and students from danger. More recently, earthquake protection has become a concern that can be addressed by attaching equipment firmly to the workspace.
