| Retractable/Recoilable Cable Options
This page lets you create your own recoilable security cables. It evolved as we added more tabs and ends to secure different types of property.
These recoilable cables are offered with three different security tabs which provide you a variety of options for securing various sized valuables. You can also have a loop on the cable end, or you can form and complete your own loop. Our new large tabs (1" x 2") work with audience response cards or anything with a 1" x 2" flat spot, and can be either permanent (BS) or temporary (BA), depending on your requirements. The medium tabs (3/4" x 1") have been effective at preventing loss of air cards and remote controls. These too can be mounted permanently (MS) or can be removable (MA). Our original small tabs (1/2" x 1/2") continue to work well on remote controls, and in restricted small areas where larger tabs won't fit. These tabs are intended for permanent mountings. Part # "T" Rather than listing all the possible cable and tab combinations, you can create your own cable by ordering the cable and anchor type from Table 1 below, then one tab or end from Table 2 or Table 3 For example, if you need five of the 3 ft recoilable cables with a one-way security anchor with a screw eye on the other end you would order the following: RC3SO Cables 5 @ $7.50 = $37.50 SO Tabs 5 @ $1.00 = $5.00 Total is $42.50 If you also need 10 3-ft recoilable cables with self-adhesive anchors and large self-adhesive cable tabs you would then order these items: RC3A Cables 10 @ $7.45 = $74.50 BA Tab 10 @ $3.00 = $30.00 Total is $104.50 If you need superglue tabs, you'll also need to order 1 GT2 glue which glues 25 large tabs, or 50 of the small or medium tabs, and costs $3.00 If you prefer, you're welcome to give us a call at 800-227-0949. First, "Add to Cart" the quantity of your first retractable cable from this table, then choose tabs or ends for it from Table 2 or 3 below.
The 3-ft retractable cables recoil when not being used, and can be held when extended with the included cable clip. If you do not want the clip, please choose the "X" option in Table 1.
